General Questions

How Does Bambera Work?

Bambera.com is a social network marketing company that connects bloggers with relevant sponsored content that matters to their audiences.

Bambera is different. We despise spam marketing. Bambera asks power influencers to promote content that their readers, friends and followers actually enjoy.

In a nutshell:

  1. Our clients tell us what types of audiences they would like to reach with their sponsored message.
  2. We ask promoters to share the content they feel is appealing to their readers/friends/followers. (So if you have a blog about men's health, you don't have to promote a client's sponsored infographic about the history of lipstick.)
  3. The promoters spread the message by blogging about it or posting the messages through their social media channels (like Twitter or Facebook).
  4. You verify you promoted the content through your Bambera profile page.
  5. We pay you via PayPal.

Once you sign up, you'll receive content to pass along to your audiences. You have the right to decline any or all content you do not wish to publish on your blog or through your social media channels.

There's no commitment and there is no cost to be a part of the Bambera network.

Why Should I Join Bambera?

If you're looking to increase your online exposure and/or make some extra money, Bambera can help.

  1. We increase traffic to blogs, Web sites and social media profiles. Bambera's viral content and videos can increase traffic to your site and add new friends and followers to your social networking circles.
  2. We offer bloggers free, interesting content to post. You'll receive cool content your audience will actually enjoy (well-designed infographics, experimental videos, etc.) You can post it for free on your blog, Web site and throughout your social media channels.
  3. We connect bloggers with your audience in new ways. The content/videos you'll be assigned interacts with audiences in an open and fun way, which is what they've come to expect from companies in the online space. Keep in mind, you can always decline promoting content if you don't think your audience will enjoy it.
  4. We pay bloggers for doing what they love. You'll be paid each time you post content to your social media profiles or blog. This isn't a get-rich-quick scheme, but it can bring in extra revenue. If you already support ads on your Web site, the increase in traffic from Bambera's viral content can indirectly increase your ad revenue.

What Will I Be Promoting?

You will receive assignments to promote our clients' sponsored messages (infographics/videos/articles).

According to non-disclosure agreements with our clients, we can't share specific client campaigns, but in general, the campaigns involve sponsored infographics, like the content you see promoted on the front pages of Digg and Mixx.

A sponsored message can also be funny/experimental videos that have a client logo somewhere in the video or an article about the company’s latest product.

Our clients include an independent cinema archive, a global furniture manufacturer, a high-performance car brand, a leading mobile device manufacture, and a top technology developer, among others.

You don’t have to write biased reviews. We believe in transparency. We know how valuable your trust level is with your audience.

We do not ask bloggers to write a biased review about a product or company. We want you and your readers to make up your own minds about the sponsored message.

We pay bloggers to simply pass the message along to their audiences. For example, you’ll get paid for a quick "Check it Out" Tweet with a link to the content and you’ll also get paid for a short blog post about the message or product itself.

We follow full disclosure regulations according to Word of Mouth Marketing Association and the FTC. We find that audiences respond positively to sponsored messages as long as they are interesting and it’s clear that the message has been sponsored.

What Will I Be Paid?

Most promoters make anywhere from $7-$35+ per assignment, depending on the amount of friends/followers they have and to which social media sites they post the messages. Blog rates are a flat fee.

The time factor: Most promoters spend 5-15 minutes promoting an assignment.

After you apply (but before you register, of course) we will send you your specific payment details.

This is not a get-rich-quick scheme, but it is a chance to make extra money and increase your blog and social media following. It’s also a chance to keep your resume active and gain social network marketing experience.

How Often Will I Receive Assignments?

Our clients select which agents they would like to promote their messages by blog topic and audience.

The number of campaigns you promote depends on the number of campaigns our existing and new clients are promoting each month and where they are in the design stage.

Most agents promote 1-3 campaigns a month, others promote up to 6 a month, and, for some, an offer doesn't come for a month or two. It really depends on where our clients are at and what type of content they're promoting.

We don't want to spam our agents (or their audiences) with unrelated campaigns. So, if you’re a film blogger, you will not be asked to promote content related to the fishing industry.

You may receive "general audience" campaigns, but you have the full right to decline the assignment if you decide your audience wouldn’t like it.
